Academic Dean: Prof. Shruti Vidyasagar

Prof. Shruti Vidyasagar is an Oxonian and a lawyer, editor, and academic of wide-ranging distinction.

Enrolled with the Bar Council of Karnataka since 2005, she brings over two decades of experience spanning corporate and commercial law, foreign investment, intellectual property, employment law, and regulatory compliance. She has advised companies, universities, law firms, and civil society organisations on legal governance and workplace ethics, with a particular focus on the prevention of sexual harassment and women’s rights.

Prof. Vidyasagar is Consulting Editor at DAKSH Society, Bengaluru, where her work sits at the intersection of empirical research, judicial administration, and access to justice. She has co-edited several widely cited volumes and research reports on court reform, constitutional ideals, and workplace dynamics, published by leading academic and policy presses, reflecting a rare ability to bridge rigorous scholarship with clarity and real-world relevance.
